Herd Tracker II TM

 A Performance-Tracking-System that monitors

Herd, Parlor and Operator Performance to maximize

 Parlor productivity and profitability

Herd Tracker ii pricture04

Herd Performance

  • Manage bulk tank SCC’s by managing high SCC indications
  • Compare the difference between high groups and low groups vs. feed intake
  • Manage high temperature stress by monitoring milk temperature

Parlor Performance

  • Turns per hour, unit-on-time, cows per hour is data graphically displayed so that “real problem” can be identified in “real time” so that decisions can be made to optimize operator performance

Operator Performance

  • Monitor and minimize how often operators reattach milking units by milking shift
  • Prep Procedures
Compare cow prep ratios (percentage of the total Milk Produced during the first two minutes of milking) and average milk production by milking shift, operators or groups of cows to fine tune Prep Procedures for optimum udder health and parlor performance.

Herd Condition

  • Generates reports on high SCC indication and high milk temperature to minimize health monitoring cost and to preempt illness.
  • Monitors total, and average milk production over time for the entire herd or group to measure response to a feed program.
  • Collects data to optimize the milk flow rate settings to minimize unit-on-time and promote good teat end condition.

Wash Water Temperature Monitoring

  • Identify system washing problems before they create high bacteria counts. Identify which milking units are not washing properly. The Herd Tracker TM also switches the system from wash to milk.
